UK Multi-Channel Retailer

£40k - £48k + benefits

Remote UK based role with a day a fortnight in the Midlands

Paid Search is a major element of our Clients marketing activity, both here in the UK and internationally, and they’re looking for an expert!  Could you be their Paid Search expert?

As a FTSE 100 business, our Client is a Multi-Channel Retailer who aren’t thinking of stopping their growth any time soon, they are already known as one of the UK’s leading and most loved brands and we are excited to have partnered with them to continue to their market dominance for many years to come. With a high YOY growth, including record breaking revenue in 2020 and 2021, they are now making huge strides to continue this trend as they look to add more super digital marketing talent to their already strong 20+ Performance Marketing Teams. This role will be to focus on paid search activity across their online categories and products. 

They are looking to continue to push online sales in the UK market and as the Senior Paid Search Category Lead you will be managing large search campaigns where you will have great technical paid search knowledge, be results orientated and able to work accurately at pace. You will work closely with our media agency and key search partners to deliver profitable performance campaigns.

As the Senior Paid Search Category Lead you will be responsible for:     

  • Developing and delivering their PPC and PLA activity, in order to maximise the profitable acquisition of new customers and generation of sales from existing customers via the channel.
  • Working alongside key internal stakeholders, plan and execute performance led search campaigns
  • Manage the relationship with the media agency & key search partners
  • Monitor & work with the agency to optimize all activity
  • Work with the partners to explore new and innovative opportunities
  • Work with the marketing and commercial trading teams.
  • Manage the reporting for your channel
  • Regularly present key campaign findings/insight identified.
  • Manage a small team of Paid Search Executives

The Senior Paid Search Category Lead will ideally come with the following key skills and experience:

  • 3+ years of experience of digital performance media channel, including at least 2 years in paid search
  • Strong numeracy and excel skills
  • Experience of planning and optimising across performance digital media channels
  • Experience of managing search partners and/or agency relationships
  • Collaborative and works well as part of a team
  • Strong technical paid search knowledge is essential
  • Knowledge of the SA360 platform would be an advantage
