Senior SOC Analyst – OUTSIDE IR35 Contract – up to 650 per day

We are looking for a senior SOC Analyst to work alongside a growing Blue Team function within the Finance industry. We need someone to defend against cyber-attacks, monitor, analyse and manage the incidents within the business, and raise issues appropriately.

What do you need?

• A minimum of 3 years in Security Operations / Security Software Development

• Exceptional knowledge of security frameworks and controls

• A strong understanding of Threat Intelligence and the ability to be involved in the threat hunting process

• A desire and an interest to progress within Cyber

• Ability to assist with testing and implementation of Response

What is on offer?

This contract is operating OUTSIDE of IR35 and accommodates for fully remote working within the UK, you will have the opportunity to work on secure projects alongside talented and likeminded individuals.

You will be expected to:

• Perform various stages of Incident Investigations and Threat Hunting engagements

• Manage and configure security monitoring tools.

• Provide guidance and support to the rest of the SOC Team. 

• Complete ongoing security analysis and triage of endpoint, network, mobile, and cloud alerts.

Desirable Certifications:

-       CISSP

-       GCTI (GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence)

-       GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials)

-       SANS Security SEC401
