Forward Role Digital have partnered with one of the UK and Europe’s largest eCommerce distributors in their industry and are now looking to add one more talented marketer to their expanding digital team. As the new SEO Manager you will be responsible for organic search across multiple eCommerce websites operating both in the UK and International territories. You will creating, implementing and executing the SEO strategy and campaigns to help the companies reach and natural search channel. Reporting into the Head of Ecommerce, the SEO Manager role is a vital part of the businesses’ E-Commerce plans as it moves to hit their ambitious targets in the next 3-5 years.

You will take control of creating an SEO strategy as well as implementing it; having experience and knowledge in the more technical aspects of SEO. Site speed optimisation, schema mark-ups, canonical tags, website architecture and crawlability are just some of the areas you will need to know about in order to take the site and wider business forward.

You will also work with the wider team including the Content Marketing Executive, who is currently producing the majority of content across multiple channels for the business. Tying this content into the SEO strategy will be critical to increasing domain authority and improving the internal linking structure etc.

As a newly created SEO role, the business also needs a full outreach and backlink campaign done. The brand is currently in a strong position within their market sector, so this aspect of the role will contribute hugely to cementing and improving upon this.
