SEO Manager - Hybrid 

West Yorkshire - 1 day in office 

£45,000 to £55,000 per annum

With a strong commitment to delivering exceptional value and quality to their customers, this highly ambitious E-commerce business are seeking an experienced and talented SEO Manager to join their dynamic team. If you're passionate about driving organic growth and have a proven track record in on-page and content optimization, off-page SEO, link building, and technical SEO, I want to hear from you! This role is hybrid, working a minimum of 1 day from site based in West Yorkshire. Flexible working is another perk that is offered with a salary of £45,000 to £55,000 dependent on experience.

You will play a pivotal role in enhancing the online presence and driving organic traffic to the e-commerce platform. You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and make a significant impact on our digital marketing efforts with authority over the SEO remit being granted.

About the role:

1. On-Page and Content Optimization:

  • Conduct comprehensive keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for content optimization.
  • Create and optimize on-page content, including product descriptions, category pages, and blog posts, to improve search engine rankings and user experience.
  • Implement SEO best practices to improve click-through rates (CTR) and user engagement.

2. Off-Page SEO and Link Building:

  • Develop and execute off-page SEO strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks and improve domain authority.
  • Monitor and analyse backlink profiles to ensure a clean and natural link portfolio.

3. Technical SEO:

  • Conduct regular technical audits to identify and resolve issues that may impact search engine rankings.
  • Collaborate with the development team to implement technical SEO recommendations.
  • Stay up-to-date with search engine algorithm changes and industry trends to adapt strategies accordingly.

4. Reporting and Analysis:

  • Track and analyse key SEO performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO software.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on SEO performance to stakeholders.
  • Identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable strategies to achieve KPIs.

5. Content Strategy:

  • Collaborate with the content team to develop a content strategy that aligns with SEO goals and targets.
  • Ensure that content is optimized for search engines while providing value to our audience.

About you:

  • Proven experience as an SEO Manager or similar role in e-commerce.
  • In-depth knowledge of on-page and off-page SEO techniques.
  • Proficiency in technical SEO, including website audits and optimization.
  • Strong understanding of keyword research and SEO tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO.
