Technical Delivery Manager

I am looking for a Technical Delivery manager to join a quality Digital Technology business in Wigan. They are renowned for building compelling and complex web applications and systems with a specific focus on helping the health and care industries.

To best serve their clients, they delve into the unknown and are always on the lookout for innovative ways to approach their projects.

Therefore, I am searching on their behalf for curious, collaborative people who are happy to share what they already know and jump at any opportunity to venture into new territory.

I am looking for a Technical Delivery manager with amazing stakeholder skill and who can run 3rd party suppliers like they were an in house team.

Working as the conduit between internal business-owners and external technology suppliers the Technical Delivery Manager will ensure a sustainable, high throughput of work is achieved whilst delivering value. One of the main challenges of this role will be to ensure that available delivery-capacity is appropriately balanced against competing business priorities coming from different areas of the business. As such a strong governance and focus on measurable value, clarity of requirement and prioritisation will be essential.

Essentially, to be considered we need the following technology skills/experience:

Strong technical delivery background with a focus on Project Management
Strong experience in the delivery of projects within an agile environment
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management
Demonstrable experience of dealing with 3rd parties effectively
Knowledge of web and cloud based systems architecture would be advantageous
A desire to collaborate and innovate with the team
