Web Optimisation Analyst – 3 Month Contract

Description

My client is one of the world’s largest social learning platforms and they’re transforming access to education across the globe. Since their launch in 2013, they’ve run hundreds of courses that have attracted over 7.5 million learners and the pace of this change is reflected in extreme growth of their revenues.

This company is looking to recruit a data analyst on a 3-month contract to support the marketing team by building up ready-to-use data sets and exploring and analysing them with scientific methods. They will also be required to infer informative and meaningful insights from raw data, with an ability to significantly contribute to the work and the decision-making process of the teams around the company.

Please note, this is a 3 month contract with the possibility of going perm.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited):

Data wrangling of pre-processed data stored in databases

Data exploration, analysis and visualization / reporting

Understanding, interpreting and communicating data-driven insights to the teams

Evaluating, recommending, and helping to make and implement insight-driven decisions, improvements and experiments

Recommending and helping to implement improvements to data collection, storage and processing to facilitate its analysis

Helping to prioritise and respond to team requests of data and information according to the scope of the project (business, research, etc.)

You should ideally:

Have experience in analysing marketing campaigns

Have experience in analysing large data sets

Have optimisation knowledge

Be self-sufficient with web analytics packages

Hold strong SQL and Google Analytics skills

Have a strong academic background

Have excellent communication skills and be confident presenting to senior clients
