Contract Business Analyst - Hybrid
We are working with a Retail brand who are looking to bring in a Contract Business Analyst to join their team.
In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders across various departments to identify and deliver key business solutions. Your focus will be on optimising processes, enhancing the customer experience, and driving operational efficiencies in line with their growth strategy.
This is a fast-paced environment, and they need someone who can hit the ground running, leveraging their retail expertise to deliver impactful change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business objectives, processes, and requirements within the retail domain.
- Analyse and map current business processes, identifying areas for improvement or automation.
- Develop detailed business requirements, ensuring alignment with project goals and customer expectations.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to drive decision-making and business performance.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with cross-functional teams to gather information and propose solutions.
- Support project teams with the implementation of new systems or processes, ensuring a seamless integration.
- Create documentation including process flows, business cases, and user stories for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Conduct regular reviews of implemented solutions, ensuring continuous improvement and ROI.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the retail industry, ideally within e-commerce, supply chain, or store operations.
- Strong understanding of retail business processes, systems, and customer behavior.
- Experience with data analysis, process modeling, and requirements gathering.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, BPMN).
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with retail software (e.g., ERP, POS, CRM) and familiarity with digital transformation projects is a plus.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
This role is a 6 month contract, with hybrid working 2 days per week out of their Manchester office.
The role falls Outside IR35, and is available to start immediately.
