Forward Role are working with an impressive, high-growth brand who are investing heavily in its evolving data function. As a Analytics Engineer, you will sit in the multi-disciplined centralised data team, playing a critical role to enable data integration and delivering scalable data solutions.

• Drive platform engineering initiatives, including connecting APIs to automate data pipelines and ensure seamless data integration from various sources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and develop efficient and scalable solutions for data integration and analytics.
• Utilise your SQL and Python expertise to develop data models, perform data transformations, and optimize query performance.
• Leveraging the Retool platform to build custom internal tools and dashboards for data analysis and visualisation.
• Implement and enforce data governance practices to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data needs and provide actionable insights through advanced analytics and reporting.
• Optimise and fine-tune the Snowflake data platform to ensure optimal performance and scalability for our growing data needs.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends in data engineering and analytics, making recommendations for process improvements and innovations.
• Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment typical of a scale-up company, adapting quickly to evolving requirements and priorities.

Skills & responsibilities:

• Experience Analytics / BI / Data Engineer, with hands on experience with SQL and Python.
• Demonstrated experience in platform engineering, connecting APIs, and working with data integration tools.
• Solid understanding of data modelling principles and experience in developing efficient and scalable data models.
• Familiarity with Retool and the ability to leverage its capabilities for building custom internal tools and data dashboards.
• Strong knowledge of data governance practices, ensuring data quality, privacy, and compliance.
• Experience with Snowflake, including data warehousing, performance optimization, and security.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adapting to changing requirements and priorities.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Experience in a scale-up environment is highly desirable, showcasing your ability to thrive in a rapidly growing organisation.
