I am delighted to collaborate with a super exciting E-commerce & Marketplace powerhouse on the lookout for a sparky self-driven E-commerce Manager. As they are in a period of rapid growth mode, you will play a pivotal role in growing profits online.
The role:
As an Ecommerce Merchandiser, you'll assist the Ecommerce Merchandising Lead in managing the UK site & app. This includes product launches, trade reporting, site trading, visual merchandising, content briefing, and collection coordination. A crucial aspect of the role is identifying and implementing sales opportunities across all website areas and optimizing the customer conversion funnel.
- Manage website departments, visually merchandise product categories, homepage categories, and ongoing collections according to the trading calendar and marketing plan, ensuring adherence to the VM strategy.
- Regularly review popular products and bestsellers to maximize opportunities and ensure prominent visibility on the website and digital marketing channels.
- Analyze slow-selling products in collaboration with Stock Merchandising and determine appropriate actions to boost sales.
- Select products for online content, such as homepages, inspirations, navigation, and landing pages, based on the seasonal plan created with the Ecommerce Merchandising Lead.
- Show dedication to innovation by providing input, content requirements, and briefs to internal Creative and web development teams (design, copy, web developer).
- Utilize insights from competitor analysis and end-of-season reviews to propose content changes or new initiatives as needed.
- Brief the Ecommerce Merchandising Lead and Digital Optimisation Manager on website content testing requirements to enhance user engagement.
