Are you a senior marketer looking to grow a marketing team? Are you looking to put your own stamp on a marketing function and have a major contribution towards business growth? One of the region’s leading law firms is looking for a new Marketing Director where the stage is set for you to do exactly that. As a firm that grew during the covid period and handled it impeccably internally, their culture is a big factor for those joining and for employees to stay.
You will be joining a high performing leadership team contributing to the development and implementation of the firm’s strategy with particular focus on shaping and leading the Marketing strategy.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the development of the firm’s brand, as part of its strategic business goal to build a strong brand within the legal space.
- Develop and continuously maintain a market leading, creative & innovative marketing strategy, aligned with the firm’s overall business strategy. Ensuring suitably agile to adapt to market trends.
- In conjunction with the firm’s sales and fee earning teams, lead the development of an active, sustainable & profitable sales pipeline.
- Ensure marketing investment is focused on most effective and efficient channels, driving business activity most cost-effectively. Manage the firm’s overall marketing budget.
- Build the firm’s capability in digital channels – web, social, content, online PR, acquisition.
- Build high-performing, inclusive marketing team: across core marketing, communications and data insights teams.
- Lead by example, living and breathing the firm’s purpose and values.
Person specification:
- Previous marketing leadership experience, preferably within a professional services organisation
- Ability to manage competing priorities.
- A proven visionary – a confident, articulate communicator capable of inspiring, collaborating and building relationships
- The ability to create focussed plans with impactful next steps – a focus on clarity and execution
- A strategic problem solver, with validated results building and executing the marketing strategy
- Customer centricity and data-driven approach – a passion for understanding and exceeding the expectations of brands and customers
- Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, presentation.
- Strong analytical skills.
