Forward Role are excited to be partnering with an innovative, family run ecommerce business, as they enjoy a highly successful trading period which has warranted significant growth at the heart of their marketing function. Small in headcount but mighty in weight, with an impressive £10mil turnover the organisation established over 9 years ago with the family founders still proudly taking an active role in the businesses success.

Retailing over 1000 products across multiple European countries, the business have already made huge waves in the US market, holding an ‘Amazons Choice’ in the US and an ‘Amazon Bestseller’ in the UK for their two best selling products. Reporting into the ecommerce Director, your role will be to help drive forward the ecommerce business and play a fundamental role in the future growth of

the organisation. You will be managing a rapidly growing advertising spend across Google, Bing and Amazon, ensuring that the paid media strategy is implemented, maintained and grown profitably.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for developing Paid Search strategy on Amazon across 6 countries (Sponsored Products, Sponsored
  • Brands and Sponsored Display)
  • Ownership of Google & Bing Paid Search strategy, profitably developing the accounts
  • Manage and optimise the product data feed supporting Google Shopping, Bing Shopping & Awin
  • Monitoring and forecasting account budgets and monthly spending to deliver excellent ROI
  • Maintain and analyse keyword bids, budget caps, impression share and quality score
  • Work closely with the Merchandising team to ensure advertising spend across Amazon generates profitable sales
  • Regularly review for negative terms in Amazon, Google and Bing.
  • Create and maintain weekly reports on paid search campaigns to evaluate and gain insight
  • Utilise Google Analytics and other analytics tools
  • Proactive in seeking out new opportunities for growth through PPC

Your skills & experience:

  • 3 years’ experience in a similar, ‘hands on’ paid media role – both Senior Executives ready for their first management step, and existing Managers will be considered
  • Amazon ad experience is preferred but not essential
  • You’ll have a passion for ecommerce and digital marketing and keep yourself up to date with the latest industry developments
  • Have a proven track record of growing sales online
  • You’ll be adaptable and flexible, a creative and innovative thinker and ‘out of the box’ problem solver
