Web Analyst – Remote

Forward Role are excited to be working in partnership with a UK ecommerce business, who are on a significant growth journey and recruiting a Web/Product Analyst! Role & Responsibilities:

  • Identifying areas of opportunity through analysis and working across a variety of teams delivering insights and recommendations.
  • Deep dive and exploratory analysis to understand customer behaviours/user journeys, product, web and app performance
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders of all levels across the business, being confident to challenge ideas, be innovative and solve business problems
  • Working collaboratively with the Product Managers to help shape the roadmaps
  • Understand the strategic business goals, define suitable KPIs – monitor and report on these metrics. Producing dashboards and visualisation – enabling self-serve insights
  • Play a key role in the experimentation process – coming up with A/B testing hypothesis, test ideas, deployment, monitoring and evaluation
  • Be an integral member of the data squad to drive continuous improvements to the data quality and infrastructure and tools across the business

Skills & Experience:

  • Experienced Analyst with a background working with large data sets in digital/web/ecom/marketing/CRO/customer etc.
  • Proven ability to work with SQL/BigQuery, writing complex queries to extract data
  • Excellent understanding of web and digital data through Google Analytics or similar
  • Ability to build insightful virilisations and dashboards using tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI etc.
  • Experience with DBT would be beneficial, but not essential
  • Ability to tell a story through data, breaking complex data down and providing actionable insights
  • The ideal candidate will thrive in fast paced teams, will love to solve problems and be commercially savvy!
