Head of Web Development

I am looking for a Head of Web Development to join a quality SaaS Technology business in Manchester. They are renowned for building compelling and complex web applications and systems with a specific focus on the health industry.

To best serve their clients, they delve into the unknown and are always on the lookout for innovative ways to approach their software projects.

Therefore, I am searching on their behalf for curious, collaborative people who are happy to share what they already know and jump at any opportunity to venture into new territory.

Here is where you come in…

I need a Head of Web Development who will play a vital role in delivering web applications which engage customers, are easy to use and are attractive. You will deliver AngularJS applications utilising HTML5, CSS3, JQuery and JavaScript which is built for API integration, optimised to have the smallest possible footprint and look stunning from mobile through to desktop.

Ideally, you will be excited to work in a high growth organisation and you will thrive when priorities are changeable and timelines are short. There is a suite of angular based applications that need to be developed, maintained and optimised, you will play a key part in this

Essentially, this role will be 80% hands-on with 20% focus on strategy and architecture and to be considered we need the following technology skills/experience:

Demonstrable hands on experience with Angular
Experience of running a small team of developers
A desire to collaborate and innovate with the team

Effectively, this would be a great role for an existing head of web development or Lead Front End Developer who has experience of managing a small team.

Salary range is around £70k, possibly more for the correct level of expertise.
