Senior Software Engineer

Hybrid working – Remote/Manchester City Centre

Forward Role have partnered with a UK SaaS business to support the growth of their engineering team. They are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join them and be a key member of the team to ensure the delivery of exciting solutions to their range of multinational clients. With a constant focus on personal and professional development you can expect to feel encouraged to be at the forefront of technology and product design in this role.

The role:

You will be Senior Software Engineer who is keen to work as a part of a team to deliver strong product development principles across the Fintech and Retail environments. You will be a strong team player who enjoys the idea of working alongside like-minded individuals. You will be an excellent problem solver and a self-starter with a genuine passion for engineering practices. Whilst having a strong appreciation of software delivery and experience.

What we need from you:

• Strong understanding of software engineering principles in modern technology platforms  
• A Dev Ops approach to software delivery
• Using TDD & BDD alongside continuous integration/deployment
• TypeScript / JavaScript, AngularJS
• HTML5, CSS, SASS, Redux
• Working with the back-end engineering teams in the process of building RESTful API
