European Paid Search Manager

Hybrid working – 2 days from stunning Manchester City Centre offices / 3 days WFH

Salary up to £45k

This thriving, reputable European online Retailer are an international market leader, with offices all in nearly every corner of the globe. Due to increased business growth, they’re now on the look-out for a passionate and driven Paid Search Manager to lead on all Paid Search Activity in Sweden, Norway, Denmark & Finland. This is a dynamic and hugely diverse organisation, and will see the post-holder take responsibility for implementing campaigns and BAU paid search activity directly in the Nordics region.

Core responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Delivering optimal commercial returns through the effective management of all Paid Search Activity in Sweden, Norway, Denmark & Finland
  • Implementing campaigns and BAU paid search activity directly in the Nordics region  
  • Continually evaluating and improving the effectiveness of Paid Search by exploring new techniques and understanding the changing dynamics of the paid search landscape
  • The day to day management of c €1m annual budget
  • Managing paid search, display prospecting and display remarketing in multiple territories 
  • Delivering effective paid search programs across multiple search engines (main focus on Google)
  • Managing the evolution of the target keyword portfolio for both ongoing BAU and campaign level paid search including the creation and management of negative keywords in Nordics region
  • Developing and executing strategy for bid types (e.g. exact/partial match)
  • Developing and executing bid price management and strategy
  • Delivering compelling and effective Ad creative
  • Constructing campaigns to support effective budget management and delineate between campaign and BAU
  • Working closely with CRM, natural search and paid social specialists to deliver a holistic approach 

Your skills & experience:

  • Expert, in-depth working knowledge of PPC techniques and best practice in an international environment
  • Hands on experience of working with AdWords/Merchant Centre and equivalent products
  • Financially astute and able to manage paid search investments in the context of campaign objectives and agreed commercial returns
  • European / Nordic language speaking skills highly desirable
