Paid Media Executive

My client is one of the North West’s most reputable retailers, with both a UK and international online presence. Historically this business has sold through retailers and online third parties, but due to increased customer demand, sales have skyrocketed through their ecommerce website over the last 2 years. They’re now looking to add a PPC Executive to play a key role in developing their paid media strategy across PPC, Shopping, Display and Paid Social. This role would see you be part of the paid performance team, managing multiple paid search accounts across numerous brands and territories.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with the paid search strategy and day to day implementation of campaigns

  • Looking to grow performance activities in PPC including Google Ads, Shopping, YouTube and Display; and Paid Social on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest

  • Optimising the PPC & Shopping budget to ROI and KPI targets to drive conversions, acquisition and retention

  • Updating reports and provide analysis around ROI, campaign performance, understanding purchasing patterns and website traffic to optimize all campaigns

  • Analysing performance and understanding the details and effectiveness of each campaign

  • Using large data sets to analyse and create optimisation plans

  • Working closely with third parties like Google, Criteo and Facebook to drive opportunities and test new products

  • Working closely with the wider digital marketing team to present the performance of the Paid Media channel, bringing insights and ideas to the table to support wider activities

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 6 months+ experience in performance marketing running Paid Media campaigns

  • Experience in running Paid Social and Paid Search campaigns from conception to execution (either agency or client side)

  • Demonstrable skills in Google Analytics and Google Ads

  • Experience using bid management tools

  • A flexible approachable with strong problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
