I am recruiting for a PHP Developer on behalf of a leading technology firm in Nottingham – built by software engineers for software engineers, they have been building award winning apps & software for the past 20 years that's used by millions of people all over the planet!

As a PHP Developer, you be joining a software development team of 25 that will be growing extensively this year, so great chance for you to collaborate with lots of other talented developers and progress.

On a day to day basis you will be working on greenfield projects, writing & supporting APIs that deliver critical functionality.

They are looking for a PHP Developer with a few years of commercial experience using modern PHP and ideally a framework (Laravel, Symfony, etc) as well as being able to write queries using MySQL.

Whilst this role is mostly PHP focussed, there are elements of the codebase that use Java so it's a great opportunity to pick up that language and add it to your skills!

They have a dedicated frontend team that use Vue.js, but again, if you want to pick that up here you absolutely can.

If you've used AWS or another cloud provider that's also a bonus, but they can upskill you here, it's not a mandatory requirement.

The salary for this PHP Developer role is between £40,000 to £50,000 plus 8% bonus, 27 days holiday, private medical insurance, life assurance x4, pension plan and more!

They offer a hybrid working model from their office in Nottingham which can be flexible around your needs as well.
