Hi I’m Carol, and I am a member of the Finance Team at Forward Role. I work part time which is absolutely perfect for me, following a year’s sabbatical after leaving my last role.

I have a vast knowledge of the building and construction industry within an office environment, as I have worked within this sector for a number of years. I am a highly experienced Accounts and Office Administrator, with a very flexible approach to managing and prioritising my workload, and I am committed to achieving the highest possible standards whilst retaining an element of fun and enjoyment. At Forward Role, I work mainly with Georgia and my primary focus is credit control, contacting clients who have outstanding invoices, however I regularly offer a helping hand to the Support team. I have found the staff at Forward Role incredibly friendly and supportive; I am probably one of the ‘oldest’ ’newest’ members of the team!

Outside of work I really enjoy travelling, I frequently travel to mainland Spain as I own a property there, I am also proud to be the President of our local community and regularly help to arrange events, ranging from our yearly festival, to a recent ‘Elvis’ impersonator act. This was to help celebrate a 10-year Birthday for a local business and raise funds for a local lady with a terminal illness. I enjoy meeting my family and friends whenever I get the chance, I love eating out and enjoy most foods, especially as I don’t really like cooking…

3. Spirit animal

A LADYBUG (or ladybird) it is believed to be an embodiment of Lady Luck, bringing good fortune and prosperity along with it. The insect leads a vibrant and colorful life, it influences you to experience the joys of living to the fullest.

4. Favourite album

I don’t really have a favourite album, as I enjoy so many different genres, from rock to pop. I really enjoy going to concerts and listening to bands live - anything from Madonna to Lionel Richie….

5. Talent for…

Getting to know ‘life stories’ from strangers (my family say it’s a talent interrogating people without them realising), in a recent trip to Washington in a one hour taxi ride I learnt the drivers whole life history….
