This is a brilliant opportunity to join a growing, people‑focused business where you’ll play a key role in payroll delivery – with a clear development pathway.
As Senior Payroll Administrator, you’ll take ownership of end‑to‑end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance and a great employee experience. You’ll also act as a go‑to person within the team, supporting junior colleagues and helping to improve processes as the function continues to evolve.
Key responsibilities
End‑to‑end payroll processing across a high‑volume environment
Ensuring payroll is accurate, compliant and delivered on time
Acting as a point of escalation for payroll queries
Supporting and mentoring junior team members
Identifying opportunities to improve payroll processes and controls
Working closely with HR and Finance teams
What we’re looking for
Proven experience in a senior or experienced payroll role
Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation
Confident working with payroll systems and Excel
A proactive, detail‑driven approach

We’re supporting a fast‑paced, high growth business in Bolton with an urgent requirement for an experienced ER Manager to join on a 3‑month FTC.
This is a hands‑on role, leading ER activity through a busy period of change, providing expert employment law guidance and managing a small ER team.
What you’ll be doing:
Leading complex employee relations cases end‑to‑end (disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence, performance)
Acting as the go‑to employment law expert for managers and senior stakeholders
Managing, coaching and developing an ER team to deliver a high‑quality service
Supporting organisational change processes, ensuring risk is managed and best practice followed
Reviewing and advising on ER policy and process where needed
What we’re looking for:
Proven experience in a senior ER or ER management role
Strong, up‑to‑date employment law knowledge – essential
Demonstrable people management / team leadership experience
Confident operating in a fast‑paced, pragmatic environment
Able to hit the ground running in a short‑term contract

This is a hands‑on, generalist HR role for someone confident advising managers, managing ER cases and supporting the business across the full employee lifecycle. You’ll work as a trusted point of contact and strive to embed best practice, compliance and a positive people culture.
What you’ll be doing
Providing practical HR advice to managers and employees across a wide range of people matters
Managing complex ER cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, restructures and redundancy
Coaching and supporting managers to drive performance and engagement
Delivering HR training for managers and team leaders
Producing HR data, reports and MI for leadership
Supporting payroll queries and liaising with benefits and pension providers
Contributing to wellbeing, engagement initiatives and HR projects
What we’re looking for
Proven experience in a generalist HR Advisor role
Strong knowledge of UK employment law and ER best practice
Confident influencing and advising managers at all levels
Experience using HR systems and producing accurate documentation
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards) preferred

Forward Role are partnering with a high‑growth, global consumer brand as they continue to accelerate their presence across Europe. This is a business known for pace, innovation and genuine disruption — not bureaucracy. As they continue to grow, they’re hiring an experienced HR Manager for Central & Eastern Europe, based in Frankfurt, to take full ownership of the People & Culture agenda across Germany, Poland and Norway.
This is a standalone, highly autonomous role with real influence — ideal for someone who thrives in fast‑moving environments and enjoys building, shaping and scaling.
The Role
You’ll act as the go‑to HR lead for your regions, owning everything from onboarding to complex employee relations. Working closely with senior stakeholders locally and a wider EMEA People team, you’ll translate strategy into action and culture into lived experience.
What you’ll be doing
Own the end‑to‑end employee experience across Germany, Poland and Norway
Adapt regional People & Culture strategies so they land effectively in each market
Lead employee relations cases end‑to‑end, ensuring compliance without slowing the business down
Coach and develop line managers, building confident, capable leaders
Drive engagement initiatives and regional events that genuinely resonate
Partner with Talent Acquisition on hiring, culture interviews and market insights
Balance autonomy, pace and commercial judgement in a scaling environment
What we’re looking for
Proven experience in a regional HR Generalist or HR Manager role
Strong expertise in German employment law (essential)
Experience working across multiple countries or complex European markets
Fluent in English and German
Comfortable operating in ambiguity and making decisions without perfect information
