​Hey I’m Emily! I’m a Senior Recruitment Consultant at Forward Role, I cover the Senior Technology Appointments

I entered the world of recruitment straight after completing my Psychology degree in 2021 and I haven’t looked back since! I initially started out covering the JavaScript market but found I naturally gravitated towards more Executive-level roles, so in November 2023 I decided to officially make the switch to this incredibly exciting and impactful market.

Outside of work, I’m a HUGE music lover and I actually used to front an alt-rock band back when I was in college. Sadly, the band disintegrated once our parents told us it was time to get real jobs, but I still love playing guitar and having a sing whenever I have the flat to myself. I also love live music, so if you ever see me at a gig out in Manchester, feel free to say hi!

I’m also a HUGE foodie, whether that’s going out for meals or spending 4 hours in the kitchen on a Saturday afternoon experimenting with a new recipe. I wouldn’t say I’m quite Nigella Lawson yet, but I enjoy it which I think is the main thing😂
