Hi! I’m Paddy and Business Manager for temporary marketing recruitment at Forward Role. I’ve specialised in interim marketing recruitment for nearly seven years now and have worked in small, medium and blue-chip recruitment agencies. After living “the dream” in Canada and teaching skiing for a number of seasons I finally returned to the UK to complete a degree in Geography and Environmental Sciences before heading back to France to teach skiing for one final season.
After finally beating the ski bug I joined my first recruitment agency, Pareto Law, as a Graduate Manager. It was this job, my first in recruitment, that got me hooked and formed the base for my career to date. After a year at Pareto Law, and some time at Michael Page, I was approached by Forward Role and joined their temporary marketing recruitment team as the second hire. Throughout the 5+ years at Forward Role I worked my way up from Consultant through several promotions to Business Manager where I managed by own division. During my time at Michael Page I grew new markets, developed relationships with some fantastic business and candidates and helped grow the team, all whilst learning and honing my recruitment skill set.
In 2016 I got the opportunity to join Forward Role to set up the contract and interim division and jumped at the chance! Over the years the division has grown significantly and is now one of the most successful divisions in the business. We now have specialists in interim marketing and IT recruitment and continue to grow as we go strength to strength.
Outside of work I like to keep as active as possible playing squash, football and going to the gym (if it’s not too sunny). If it’s winter, you’ll inevitably find my on the slopes pursuing my No1 passion, skiing!
