Marketing Communications Manager

£32,500 - £37,500 depending on experience

Huddersfield – 2 days in the office & 3 days from home

Forward Role are looking to recruit a Marketing Communications Manager for an award winning independent professional services company. This dynamic business aim to make complexities of law clearer and easier to understand for its customers and for their employees a great salary, brilliant scope to develop your career and a fun and supportive work environment.

This role is a crucial part of the marketing department, which will help shape and deliver their marketing strategy. To be successful you will have extensive strategic hands on experience in marketing communications, PR and Social Media preferably within a dot com, agency or professional services environment and you will be familiar working in a regulated industry.


  • Develop marketing plans which reflect our strategic business priorities and group strategy
  • Prepare effective and engaging written content for a variety of offline and online channels
  • Work with other departments to prepare product launches and
  • Ensure all marketing communications are produced to an impeccable standard
  • Proactively identify content for case studies, insight articles and press
  • Identify and prepare submissions for high-impact industry awards
  • Keep internal marketing data up to date (inc. intranet content, marketing material database and company app)
  • Contribute to the communications process to on-board new businesses
  • Identify and co-ordinate opportunities for media coverage
  • Develop fully integrated campaigns across all media
  • Support attendance and production of events

Skills and experience:

  • Commercially focused with strong background in marketing communications
  • Evidence of excellent copywriting skills
  • Thorough understanding of different social media channels and how to use them to engage an audience
  • Experience creating and managing multi-channel campaigns
  • Developed working relationships with the media including link building activity
  • Events management
  • Experience preparing and implementing marketing plans
  • Able to work within a virtual team but a self-starter and the ability to manage own priorities and workload
  • Minimum three years’ experience in a similar role
