Senior Marketing Communications Specialist

Our client is a leading multinational matric organisation in the B2B sector who are looking to recruit a Senior Marketing Communications Specialist

As a part of the Marketing team, you will own and deliver on the internal communications plan, engaging with all associates through regular, critical communications.  You will provide marketing communications expertise and support to the Marketing Manager and Sales teams through the ideation, development and execution of traditional and digital integrated marketing communication plans.

The role will focus on activating and elevating both innovation launches and initiatives. You will interface with key stakeholders from various functions and levels within the group divisions as needed, developing strategic communications that drive divisional and corporate goals.

Main responsibilities

Marketing Communications Operational Excellence:

  • Develop integrated marketing communications plans and implement communication strategies to achieve marketing goals
  • Work with marketing managers and cross-functional partners to stay abreast of marketing programmes, projects, innovations and launch plans
  • Sales Activation : creation of materials, communication, participate in sales meeting understanding the segment & program strategy & how you can drive sales activation 
  • Manages internal & external communications to include newsletters, Web and App updates, customer portal, organisation of conference – tradeshow

Strategic Branding and Business Building :

  • Develop and project manage multiple communications activities, including technical and/or promotional writing and design (print and online), audio and video production and digital communications ensuring accuracy and adherence to brand standards
  • Track and leverage qualitative and quantitative metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of activities and make insights-driven adjustments for continuous improvements

Digital Marketing Expertise :

  • Creates an integrated communications digital strategy including email campaigns web pages optimized for SEO, display ads and social media posts for a program launch & pest awareness
  • Incorporates competitive intelligence on competitors’ digital offerings and communicates how our client’s offerings and customer experience are differentiated in the market

The ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Marketing Communications or similar
  • 7+ years of professional experience, including project management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong competency in Digital marketing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications
  • Working knowledge of email marketing and CMS platforms (preferably SalesForce, and ExactTarget)
  • Experience working with external vendor partners
  • Attention to detail and accuracy while meeting critical deadlines

Requested Expertise :

  • Working knowledge of email marketing and CMS platforms (preferably Salesforce, Marketing Cloud and Sitecore)
  • Knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics and experience with marketing campaigns on social media
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications
