Commercial Analyst
Altrincham (Hybrid: 3–4 days office-based)
£35,000 – £45,000 (dependent on experience)
An established and fast-growing FS Business are currently recruiting for a Commercial Analyst to support their ambitious growth journey. Backed by a newly secured funding, the company is scaling rapidly and this role is key to helping achieve its financial and strategic targets.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative FP&A team that plays a central role in guiding commercial, operational, and strategic decisions across the business. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of FP&A and key internal stakeholders to drive insight-led decision-making through meaningful data analysis, reporting and insight delivery.

Role & Responsibilities:
- Deliver ad hoc analysis to support decision-making across various business units
- Monitor the progress of strategic initiatives critical to meeting financial objectives
- Produce and interpret weekly KPI reports, identifying performance trends and deviations from budget
- Recommend and help implement action plans to align KPIs with business targets
- Support monthly reporting cycles including credit risk and collections performance, investor returns, and bad debt analysis
- Translate stakeholder needs into actionable Power BI dashboards and collaborate with data engineers to ensure data accuracy and accessibility
- Conduct deep-dive analysis on new initiatives, ROI evaluations, product performance reviews, and customer segmentation
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in a similar Commercial / Data Analyst role
- Strong analytical mindset with a proactive and inquisitive approach
- Advanced Excel
- Experience creating and maintaining dashboards in Power BI
- Ability to communicate complex insights clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment
- Experience working with financial and budget data is ideal, but not essential
- Knowledge of SQL is advantageous but not essential
- Familiarity with Salesforce reporting and dashboards is desirable but not essential
