The Role:
As Senior Data Engineer, you'll be designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions that enable the business to make better use of their data. You'll ensure efficient collection, storage, transformation, and integration of data across multiple platforms, supporting analytics, reporting, and decision-making. Working closely with the Architect, Business Analysts, and wider teams you'll translate business requirements into technical solutions. You'll also provide technical guidance in implementing best practices for data integrity, security, and performance within Azure environments.

The Day-to-Day:
You'll lead the design and implementation of data solutions using Azure technologies. This involves developing and optimising ETL/ELT pipelines to support data ingestion and transformation for business applications.
You'll maintain and enhance SQL Server environments and collaborate with Developers to deliver integrated data services for applications such as PowerApps and Dynamics 365.
You’ll advise on architecture, standards, and emerging technologies whilst documenting technical designs, data flows, and processes.
You'll provide time estimates, manage delivery timelines, support testing and deployment activities, and troubleshoot data issues to maintain system stability and data quality.
