Are you a strategic thinker with exceptional project management skills?Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy taking ownership of the bid process from start to finish?If so, our client wants you to join their team as a Bid Manager in a newly created role. As their Bid Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the entire bid process, from proposal development to submission and evaluation. You will work closely with internal teams and client managers to develop compelling proposals and pitch presentations that showcase their expertise and win new business.Responsibilities:
Develop and manage the proposal process, conducting a thorough analysis of proposal requirements, identifying key themes and messages, and working with internal teams to develop compelling proposals.Ensure all proposals are submitted on time and in the required format, coordinating with proposal teams to ensure all necessary information is included.Ensure all proposals are compliant with bid requirements, company policies, and using house style.Build and maintain relationships with client managers to ensure a successful bidding process.Track proposal feedback and develop feedback to improve the bidding process.Be responsible for keeping the proposal spreadsheet up-to-date.Continuously improve the bid management process by implementing best practices, evaluating the effectiveness of current processes, and proposing new strategies to improve efficiency and success.Support marketing initiatives across the business, including ensuring briefings are produced from each business area and helping to arrange external events including the annual conference.
The successful candidate should have a proven track record of success within a Bid Management or Senior Bid Executive role, plus the following:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in within Bid Writing/ManagementExcellent writing and project management skillsAbility to manage multiple bids simultaneouslyExcellent literacy, numeric and IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerpointUse of other creative tools, such as the Adobe suite, to help the Bid process would be advantageousDeadline driven, with great attention to detailAbility to work on own initiative and act independently whilst being able to work successfully as part of a teamAbility to represent the Company in a professional manner at all timesCompetitive spirit with a desire to win
