Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 per annum
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) to join the team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a fully remote role, offering flexibility and access to diverse digital learning environments. The IQA will oversee and assure the quality of assessment and delivery for:

Gateway – Extended Certificate in Digital & IT (Level 2 and above)

Agored Diploma in Digital Product Management (Level 4)
You'll ensure assessments comply with regulatory standards and uphold the highest quality in learner experiences and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Review and sample learner portfolios and assessments to ensure consistent, valid, and reliable judgements across all assessors.

Monitor and evaluate assessment practices against awarding body requirements and internal quality criteria.

Provide constructive feedback to assessors, guiding improvements and supporting professional development.

Conduct remote standardisation, moderation, and calibration sessions with assessors to maintain consistency and fairness.

Collaborate with training designers and delivery teams to enhance assessment tools and methods.

Ensure all documentation and records of quality assurance activities are accurate, compliant, and audit-ready.
What We’re Looking For

Experience as an IQA or similar role within further education or training environments.

Strong knowledge of digital/IT qualifications at Level 2 (Gateway – Extended Certificate) and Level 4 (Agored – Digital Product Management).

Familiarity with regulatory quality assurance practices, internal verification, and external verification processes.

Proficiency with remote quality assurance tools and platforms (digital portfolios, LMS, conferencing tools).

Excellent communication, attention to detail, and ability to deliver clear feedback.

Organised, analytical, and committed to maintaining high-quality learner outcomes.
