Social Media Lead
Manchester - Hybrid (3 days in office)
£45,000 - £55,000 + bonus
Forward Role is partnered with a well-established B2B professional services business, as they look for a commercially minded Social Media Lead to turn social into a genuine lead-generation channel.
This is a hands-on, strategic role with full autonomy, and it exists to generate sales, not just produce good content. You'll own the strategy end-to-end across the core business and its growing software product: content, campaigns, paid amplification and social selling, all built to turn social into a genuine pipeline of leads for the sales team.
Day to day, you'll be:
☀️ Creating engaging, social-first content across the business
☀️ Developing social campaigns specifically designed to generate leads
☀️ Turning subject-matter expertise and product updates into compelling content
☀️ Building employee advocacy and social selling among the sales team
☀️ Testing paid-social campaigns to amplify successful organic content
☀️ Developing audiences for retargeting and future campaigns
☀️ Tracking leads and opportunities generated through social
What you'll bring:
☀️ Strong hands-on social media experience, ready for greater ownership and commercial impact
☀️ B2B experience essential - SaaS, software or professional services a strong advantage
☀️ A track record in organic growth, lead generation and paid social
☀️ Comfortable with analytics, attribution and measuring commercial performance
☀️ Creative, curious and commercially minded - full subject-matter training provided
This isn't a role where you'll inherit a rigid playbook - you'll help build one, with access to subject-matter experts, a sizeable sales team and a large existing customer base.
