☀️ PR Manager
£30-35K + Bonus

Join one of the UK's biggest names in a fast-moving consumer retail space - a household brand with hundreds of locations nationwide and millions of customers served. This is a business investing heavily in PR, digital visibility and creator partnerships, and looking for someone to run its press office.
You'll run the day-to-day of the press office, delivering PR campaigns, securing coverage and building journalist relationships, with hands-on exposure to CSR, AI/LLM search visibility and creator collaborations. Reporting to the Communications team, you'll get coaching, a clear path of progression and real reputational responsibility from day one.
☀️ WHAT YOU'LL DO ☀️
PR Strategy & Execution
Execute PR strategy set by Communications
Manage PR campaigns end to end, including digital PR output
Run press office activity - media enquiries, coverage tracking, journalist relationships
Help plan and manage fundraising and CSR events
Produce external comms to promote and report on activity
Work with the SEO Manager on the media relations strategy, supporting content output
Work Marketing and Social to identify and recommend creators
Communicate creator strategy results to the wider business
Manage reputational risk in creator partnerships, keeping key messages consistent
WHAT YOU'LL GET
Weekly 1:1s with the Communications Lead for coaching and prioritisation
Clear delegated authority on day-to-day PR, with defined escalation points for anything reputational, legal or crisis-related
Structured onboarding into existing strategy, media contacts and processes
Quarterly development reviews tied to an objective-led generous bonus structure
Gradual exposure to crisis comms and higher-stakes media relations as you grow
☀️ WHAT YOU'LL BRING ☀️
3+ years' PR, press office or digital PR experience - agency or in-house
Track record managing or supporting media campaigns from concept to coverage
Experience working with journalists, creators or event suppliers
Strong written communication - confident drafting press materials and external messaging
Excellent organisation - able to juggle multiple live campaigns
Sound judgement on reputational sensitivity, knowing when to escalate
Self-motivated with genuine initiative
Creative - able to turn data, topics or seasonal moments into standout campaigns
Comfortable collaborating across SEO, marketing and social teams
