Hi, my names Josh and I am a Recruitment Consultant in the Technology team at Forward Role -  focusing on all things Data! I’ve been working in recruitment for the last 5.5 years now (where did that time go?), working in a 360 commercial setting, on a split desk recruiting for temporary and permanent roles.  I have worked across a number of different sectors and levels, but with the majority of the recruitment being into different commercial and office based teams.

Outside of work I’m a massive football fan, I support Man City so always happy to give and take a bit of stick. I’m into a lot of sports in general, F1, Golf and the NBA. Most weekends are usually intertwined with whatever sport is on that weekend. I love to have a drink and unfortunately a bit of karaoke (I always sound so much better in the car?!). I’ve got an unhealthy obsession with Nandos chicken and smash burgers if any one can relate? And I love a curry at any opportunity possible. I love dogs and I am absolutely not a cat person. I hate them. Not as much as rats though, who I despise unless you are called Remi. (Ratatouille reference for anyone there).

Aside from that - I love to be active, going on walks and making sure I go to the gym regularly. I have recently found a passion for travelling and specifically city breaks! Last year I visited Milan, Barcelona and Dublin and have a few trips planned for 2023, so if anyone has any great suggestions of places to visit next, let me know!

1. Favourite boxset of all time

I love a good series and watch so many different things. A few I like are Suits, Power, Brassic and Game of Thrones (the less said about Season 8 the better).

2. Tipple of choice

Diet Coke, an ice cold beer or Kraken Rum.

Monkey – always causing mischief and they’re just belting aren’t they?

4. Favourite album

Find it really difficult to pick one specific album because I love such a wide variety of music! Love a bit of Drake and Mac Miller, when im cooking I love to get a Fleetwood Mac record on – and I am really into any sort of tech house.

Singing the wrong lyrics to any song and awful attempts at different accents.
