Job title: Junior Merchandiser

Forward Role have partnered with a leading omni-channel Retailer, who are looking for a Junior Merchandiser to join their growing Merchandising department. You will play a key role in the team, providing day-to-day support in order to achieve maximum efficiency and to deliver the department plan on customer, sales and profit. You will be responsible for ensuring the right stock and intake is available for customers, always looking for opportunities to maximise potential for both product and stores.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Evaluate past season trends to identify opportunities and risks
- Create sign off packs and manage critical path
- Present in product mix and sign off meetings
- Load plans in WSSI following product mix meetings
- Support with department intake plans, in line with weekly intake forecasts
- Implement trading strategies
- Support with training junior team members
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Have previous Merchandising experience, ideally minimum of 4 years
- Have a keen eye for detail
- Have strong working knowledge of MS Excel
- Possess strong communication skills both verbally and written
- Have an analytical mind and be confident managing large volumes of data
