Senior Merchandiser

This brand is not slowing down any time soon and due to continued expansion across their retail and digital footprint, has created further investment within the merchandising team.
The Merchandising team operates with a highly organised, data led approach to forecasting, stock management and profit delivery. The Senior Merchandiser will lead a merchandising team to deliver channel sales, stock, intake, markdown and profit plans.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Merchandiser:
- Review prior season performance and define forward strategy.
- Partner with Buying to shape category direction and planning.
- Approve grading and assortment planning inputs.
- Own category and season planning aligned to group targets.
- Lead weekly trade reviews and drive action planning.
- Manage forecasting variances and OTB control.
- Oversee intake management and stock commitments.
- Propose and manage markdown strategy.
- Monitor sell-through and manage exit plans.
- Lead range planning at store level.
- Develop and mentor team members.
- Deputise for the Merchandise Manager when required.
- Influence senior cross functional stakeholders.
The Key Skills of the Senior Merchandiser:
- Significant experience at Senior Merchandiser level.
- Proven leadership and team development capability.
- Highly analytical and commercially decisive.
- Advanced Excel and forecasting expertise.
- Confident presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Experience within fashion or retail is advantageous.
- Comfortable operating in a structured, KPI driven environment.
