I’m supporting one of the UK’s leading digital education providers in their search for a Senior AI & Machine Learning Instructor — a role designed for someone who lives and breathes technology, loves teaching, and wants to help shape the future of AI education across apprenticeships, bootcamps, and corporate training.
The Opportunity
You’ll be at the heart of the provider’s AI portfolio, delivering and developing high-quality learning experiences across programmes such as the Level 6 AI Engineer Apprenticeship. Working alongside the Portfolio Director for AI, you’ll support learners through every stage of their journey — from mastering ML fundamentals to building real-world projects.
This is a brilliant opportunity to influence product design, coach learners, and lead workshops for some of the world’s most forward-thinking organisations.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and high-quality AI & ML training sessions to diverse learner groups

Coach and mentor learners, providing timely feedback and support on projects and assignments

Collaborate with content and product teams to develop new materials and improve existing curricula

Stay up to date with emerging tools, frameworks, and best practices in AI, ML, and MLOps

Ensure compliance with apprenticeship and awarding-body standards (Ofsted, ESFA, etc.)
What You’ll Bring
✅ Professional experience in end-to-end ML workflows — from data prep and model development to deployment and monitoring
✅ Strong proficiency in Python, with experience using Git/GitHub, Docker, MLflow, and at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
✅ A solid grasp of core ML techniques, with a specialism in at least one area (e.g. NLP/LLMs, Computer Vision, or Generative AI)
✅ Prior teaching, mentoring, or coaching experience — confident delivering to mixed-ability learners
✅ Excellent communication skills and the ability to break down complex ideas into clear, engaging lessons
Desirable:

Formal teaching qualification or EPA assessor training

Experience designing interactive labs and learning content

Understanding of responsible AI, data governance or GenAI prompt engineering
