Data Apprenticeship Trainer / Curriculum Specialist (Level 3 & 4 – Data Analyst & Data Engineer)
Location: Remote
Employment Type: Permanent and Contract opportunities available 
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 or £250 - £300 p/d

I’m working with a leading digital skills provider who are expanding their apprenticeship portfolio, and I’m looking to speak with an experienced Data Trainer or Curriculum Specialist to support the design and delivery of their Level 3 Data Analyst and Level 4 Data Engineer Apprenticeship Standards.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for data and education who wants to help build high-quality apprenticeship programmes from the ground up.

⭐ Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain curriculum content for L3 & L4 Data Analyst / Data Engineer apprenticeships.

• Deliver engaging training sessions (virtual and/or classroom-based) to diverse learner groups.

• Create assessments, learning resources and project briefs aligned to apprenticeship standards and employer needs.

• Work collaboratively with internal teams, employers and awarding bodies to ensure high-quality learning delivery.

• Provide mentoring, guidance and feedback to apprentices throughout their learning journey.

✅ What We’re Looking For:

• Experience delivering or designing apprenticeship programmes, ideally within data, digital or technology.

• Strong knowledge in data analytics and/or data engineering (e.g. SQL, Python, data modelling, ETL pipelines, cloud fundamentals).

• Background in curriculum design, instructional delivery or assessment development.

• Passionate about education, skills development and helping learners succeed.

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Desirable (not essential):

• Experience working with apprenticeship standards or Ofsted/ESFA requirements.

• Knowledge of employer engagement within data or digital industries.

• Experience across blended learning – virtual, classroom and/or e-learning delivery.
