Marketing Analyst
Location: Birmingham - Hybrid
Salary: £40,000-£55,000 
We're looking for an analytical and commercially minded Marketing Analyst to join a fast growing retail environment and play a key role in driving data led marketing decisions. You'll turn customer and campaign data into actionable insights that shape marketing strategy, optimise spend, and enhance customer engagement.
This is an opportunity to work across multiple marketing channels (digital, CRM, and brand), supporting the delivery of high-impact campaigns that deliver measurable ROI.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Analyse marketing campaign performance across digital, CRM, and offline channels, providing actionable recommendations to optimise activity.
- Partner with marketing, ecommerce, and trading teams to measure the impact of promotions, loyalty activity, and brand campaigns.
- Deliver reporting dashboards and visualisations (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) to communicate results and trends to key stakeholders.
- Use customer and transactional data to segment audiences, understand behaviour, and identify opportunities for retention and acquisition.
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and A/B testing with insight-driven recommendations.
- Manage marketing data quality and support integration of new data sources into the analytics environment.
- Work closely with data and BI teams to ensure consistent measurement frameworks and reporting standards.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience as a Marketing Analyst, Insight Analyst, or similar in a retail, ecommerce, or consumer-focused environment.
- Strong SQL skills with the ability to extract, manipulate, and analyse large datasets.
- Proficient in data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker).
- Comfortable working with CRM, campaign performance, and digital marketing data (Google Analytics, Meta, PPC, email, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong commercial mindset with an understanding of customer behaviour, sales performance, and marketing ROI.
- Ideally degree-educated in a numerical, business, or marketing-related discipline.
