Cloud Solutions Engineer | London | Hybrid

Key Skills:
- Microsoft Azure (VMs, AVD, Storage, Azure AD/Entra ID, Backup, Site Recovery) – essential
- AWS (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS) – desirable / working knowledge
- Hybrid cloud design and migration (on-premises to cloud)
- Windows Server and Active Directory administration
- Hyper-V and VMware virtualisation
- Backup and disaster recovery (Veeam, Cove, Acronis)
- Networking: VLANs, TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper, Watchguard)
- Cloud security and identity management (Azure security tools, Defender, Sophos, encryption)
- Cloud cost optimisation and performance monitoring
- Client engagement and translating requirements into scalable cloud solutions
Nice to have: Infrastructure-as-code (IaC) or automation tooling experience

Day-to-Day:
- Lead cloud solution design and delivery across Azure and AWS, managing complex hybrid environments and acting as senior technical escalation point for cloud and infrastructure challenges
- Work directly with clients to assess on-premises setups, build phased migration roadmaps, and guide them through cloud adoption from lift-and-shift to cloud-native transformation
- Mentor junior engineers and raise the technical bar across the team, covering architecture, migration, security, cost optimisation, and consultancy
