We're partnering exclusively with a globally recognised lifestyle and apparel brand who are on the hunt for a Senior Automation Tester to join their engineering function. Their e-commerce platform operates at serious scale and quality is non-negotiable in everything they deliver.

Key Skills:

- Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)
- AWS or other cloud platforms
The Role:
You'll own the automation strategy designing, building and maintaining test suites that span frontend, APIs and third-party integrations. You'll be a trusted voice in the engineering team, not an afterthought, working shoulder to shoulder with frontend, backend and cloud engineers from day one of every sprint.

Day to Day:
- Building and maintaining automated test suites across web, API and integration layers
- Triaging failures and feeding clear findings back to the relevant squads
- Embedding quality into CI/CD pipelines so nothing dodgy gets through to production
- Reviewing PRs and holding the team to a high standard
- Sitting with BAs and Product Owners early to define what good looks like before build begins
- Digging into production issues using observability tooling and writing regression tests off the back of them
- Mentoring junior members of the QA team
- Feeding into sprint ceremonies and helping evolve how QA works at this business
What They're Looking For:
- Solid hands-on experience in an automation engineering role
- Strong Node.js and TypeScript/JavaScript skills
- Confident with REST APIs and GraphQL
- Cloud experience, AWS preferred but not essential
- CI/CD and Git as standard
- Knowledge of MACH principles or observability tools like NewRelic or Datadog would go down well
