Senior Learning Designer – 12-Month FTC | £40,000 – £45,000 | Fully Remote | Enterprise AI Learning
We're working exclusively with a globally recognised learning consultancy to find a Senior Learning Designer for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This client has designed and delivered award-winning digital skills and AI programmes for over 650,000 learners worldwide — their client list includes some of the biggest names in tech, retail, finance and media.
This is a high-autonomy, high-output role for someone who genuinely knows their craft.
The Role
You'll be designing cutting-edge enterprise learning programmes — gamified, scenario-based, AI-integrated — and leading a distributed network of freelance designers and content specialists. You'll report into the Head of Product and work closely with client teams and SMEs to turn complex AI and digital concepts into genuinely engaging learning experiences.
What You'll Be Doing
- Designing end-to-end learning journeys across e-learning, webinars, live workshops and toolkits
- Building AI learning solutions using Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini and similar tools
- Leading needs analysis with enterprise stakeholders and translating business objectives into measurable outcomes
- QA-ing and managing freelance designers, copywriters and multimedia specialists
- Contributing to proposals, RFPs and scoping conversations
- Staying ahead of emerging AI tools and embedding them meaningfully into content
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years as a Senior Learning Designer or Instructional Designer in a corporate or agency setting
- Expert-level Articulate Rise and Storyline
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini and AI-based video tools (e.g. Synthesia)
- Proven track record with gamified, simulation-led or scenario-based learning
- Experience managing freelancers or creative teams
- Strong commercial awareness — comfortable with timelines, scoping and client-facing conversations
Nice to Have
- Degree in Instructional Design, Learning Technology or similar
- Coaching or facilitation qualification
- LMS/LXP platform experience
- Background in AI fluency or digital transformation programmes
