This is one of those roles that doesn't come around very often. After years of steady, consistent growth, this business has reached the point where paid media is too commercially critical to sit entirely with an agency. They're ready to bring it in-house, own it properly, and scale it — and they need the right person to lead that charge.
The Opportunity
You'll be joining a lean, ambitious e-commerce team operating across UK and US markets in a regulated, high-growth sector. Google Ads is already driving serious revenue and needs a strong pair of hands to optimise and grow it. Meta doesn't exist yet — you'll build it from scratch. An affiliate programme is on the roadmap. The commercial ambition is real and the backing is there.
This isn't a role where you'll be executing someone else's strategy. You'll own the paid media function end-to-end — the budget, the channels, the results, and the direction of travel.
What You'll Be Doing
- Taking full ownership of Google Ads across UK and US — Shopping, Search and Performance Max — with direct accountability for revenue, ROAS and new customer acquisition
- Building Meta from the ground up — pixel, catalogue, account structure, testing strategy and scaling — working with the team on creative direction
- Growing the affiliate programme — partner identification, onboarding, tracking and ROI measurement
- Collaborating closely with the E-commerce Director and wider team to align paid activity to the trading calendar, promotions and on-site performance
- Reporting with insight — not just numbers, but clear recommendations and early flags on performance or budget risks
- Navigating a regulated environment — applying platform policies and sector-specific advertising standards across all markets with confidence
What We're Looking For
- Proven hands-on Google Ads experience with direct revenue accountability — Shopping and PMax experience is essential
- Experience running paid social campaigns; building Meta accounts from scratch is a strong advantage
- Comfortable managing campaigns across multiple markets simultaneously
- Strong analytical ability across Google Ads, GA4 and Meta Ads Manager
- Experience in e-commerce — DTC or regulated sector experience is a real plus
- Someone who is commercially driven, proactive and detail-oriented — you manage budgets like your own money and you don't wait to be told there's a problem
You don't need to have worked in aesthetics or pharma specifically — but you do need to understand regulated or restricted advertising environments and be comfortable applying compliance requirements consistently across ad copy, targeting and landing pages.
