Freelance Marketing Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Freelance Marketing Manager to join a fast-paced B2B business on an initial 6–9 month contract.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning marketing operations, managing launches and driving commercial performance in a busy environment.
You’ll work closely with leadership, agencies and internal teams to ensure marketing activity runs smoothly, campaigns are delivered effectively and performance is clearly measured.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day marketing operations and campaign delivery
- Manage agency relationships and hold partners accountable for performance
- Coordinate launches, timelines and communications across teams
- Own reporting and performance analysis, identifying opportunities for improvement
- Manage marketing budgets and track spend effectively
- Support customer and brand experience across communications and channels
- Provide stability and direction to the wider marketing team
Requirements:
- Proven B2B experience managing marketing operations in a fast-paced business
- Strong commercial awareness and performance mindset
- Experience managing agencies and external partners
- Confident analysing data and turning insights into actions
- Highly organised with strong stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working autonomously and adapting in a changing environment
Contract Details:
- ASAP start
- 6–9 month contract
- 5 days per week
- Hybrid working – 3 days per week in the Manchester office
