I’m partnered with a market-leading TravelTech company that’s been around for decades, but has recently evolved into a fast-scaling B2B and B2C platform, selling millions of tickets to travellers across Europe each year
They’re now expanding their engineering team with x3 hires:
✨ 1 x Staff/Principal Engineer (Ruby on Rails) – driving architectural direction, leading major technical initiatives, and mentoring engineers
✨ 2 x Senior Software Engineer (Ruby on Rails) – delivering high-quality solutions, contributing across the project lifecycle, and tackling complex technical challenges

You’ll work closely with product managers, fellow engineers, and business leaders, with the opportunity to make a real impact on a platform used by millions.
What you’ll do (depending on level):
- Design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions
- Drive and oversee technical initiatives across teams and systems
- Shape architectural decisions to ensure scalability and performance
- Mentor and influence engineers, helping raise the bar on engineering practices
- Solve complex technical challenges around data aggregation, routing, and optimisation
- Collaborate with product, business, and engineering leaders to align on technical strategy
- Share knowledge, continuously learn, and take part in monthly hack days
What we’re looking for:
✔ Strong hands-on experience with Ruby & Ruby on Rails
✔ Proficiency in Frontend Development
✔ 5+ years experience for Senior / 8+ years for Principal
✔ Proven track record of building scalable, maintainable software
✔ For Principal roles: leadership experience, guiding architecture & mentoring engineers
✔ English fluency & based in Europe with good timezone overlap
Nice to haves:
- Hotwire experience
- PostgreSQL, AWS
- Agile methodologies
- Mobile-first experience
Package:
Senior: €65,000 – €75,000 base salary (DOE)
Principal/Staff: €75,000 – €85,000 base salary (DOE)
Fully remote across Europe
Permanent contracts
