Content Specialist (6-month contract)
£30,000 - £32,000 per annum
Hybrid working - 2 days per week in the Cheshire office, 3 days WFH
6-month fixed term contract (with potential to go permanent)

What you’ll be doing:
Create content across blogs, press releases, case studies, whitepapers, emails, and more
Improve visibility across search and answer engines through SEO and AI-driven optimisation
Conduct keyword research and support content planning
Monitor competitor activity and identify opportunities to outperform
Ensure consistent execution of content strategies
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practice
Support UX improvements and on-site optimisation
Contribute to CRO strategies for lead generation
Report on content performance to senior stakeholders
Support link-building and wider digital marketing activity
Assist with social media optimisation across platforms
What we’re looking for:
Strong passion for writing with experience across technical and creative content (B2B & B2C)
Excellent written English with a clear, engaging style
1-2 years’ experience in a content writing or similar role
Experience using CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress)
Knowledge of local SEO and Google Business Profile optimisation
Understanding of social media marketing (LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram)
Proven ability to improve search rankings using ethical SEO techniques
Strong organisation skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently
