Marketplace Key Account Manager
Location: Altrincham (Hybrid – 3 days in office)
Salary: £28,000 – £40,000 DOE

About the role
We're a fast-paced, ambitious ecommerce business with a clear focus on growth and marketplace is at the heart of what we do. We're now looking for a commercially minded Marketplace Key Account Manager to take ownership of our key marketplace channels, drive performance, and help shape our next stage of growth.
This is a high-impact role for someone who loves the combination of data, trading insight, and relationship management. You'll work closely with merchandising, ecommerce, product, and leadership teams and you'll have real ownership from day one.

What you'll be responsible for
Account management
- Own and grow key marketplace accounts, driving sales, profitability, and performance
- Act as the primary contact for marketplace partners, building strong, collaborative relationships
- Monitor account health, performance metrics, and marketplace standards
Commercial & trading
- Take ownership of sales performance, budgets, and P&L accountability across assigned channels
- Build and execute promotional calendars aligned to marketplace opportunities and trading periods
- Monitor competitor pricing, ranges, and activity to identify risks and opportunities
Data & insight
- Analyse sales data, customer behaviour, and marketplace trends to identify optimisation opportunities
- Develop reporting frameworks and KPIs to track channel performance and present insights to leadership
- Use data to support pricing strategy, promotional decisions, and growth initiatives
Growth & collaboration
- Identify new marketplace opportunities, partnerships, and scalable growth initiatives
- Collaborate with senior leadership to shape long-term marketplace strategy
- Work cross-functionally with ecommerce, merchandising, product, and operations teams
