MORE ROLES FOR YOU

Commercial Data Analyst
London, Greater London, England
We’re partnering with an ambitious, high-growth luxury fashion and eCommerce group that is investing heavily in the next stage of its growth. Commercial Data Analyst £45,000 – £55,000 | London | Hybrid, minimum 3 days per week Are you a Data Analyst who wants to get closer to the decisions your work actually influences? We’re partnering with an ambitious, high-growth luxury fashion and eCommerce group that is investing heavily in the next stage of its growth. At the heart of the business is a membership-led digital platform with a growing customer base, rich behavioural data and significant plans across the wider group. As the portfolio expands, the business is now investing in the data, technology and commercial infrastructure needed to support that growth. They’re looking for a Commercial Data Analyst to become a foundational member of that journey. This isn’t a role where you’ll spend your time producing dashboards that disappear into the business. You’ll work directly with senior commercial leadership, using data to understand customer behaviour, identify trends and answer the questions driving growth across the organisation. What you’ll be doing You’ll take ownership of analysis across customer, membership, trading and operational performance. That will include: Using SQL to interrogate data across multiple systems and datasets Turning broad commercial questions into clear analysis Identifying trends, opportunities and areas worth investigating further Building reporting and dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker or similar Presenting findings in a way that makes sense to commercial and senior stakeholders Helping define and measure the KPIs that matter as the business scales Working between Commercial and Technology as the business develops its central data warehouse Supporting data quality, accuracy and reporting logic as that environment evolves You won’t be expected to architect or build the data warehouse yourself. There is already technical ownership in place. Instead, you’ll help make sure the data being produced is accurate, useful and able to support real commercial decisions. What we’re looking for You’ll need a strong grounding in data analytics and enough technical confidence to work independently, but this role is equally about what you do with the information once you’ve found it. The key requirements are: Strong SQL skills and confidence working independently with data Previous experience working with a data warehouse Experience with BI/reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker or similar Strong reporting and trend-analysis experience The ability to explain data clearly to non-technical and senior stakeholders Commercial curiosity and the confidence to look beyond the original question Experience within eCommerce, consumer, subscription, membership, marketplace or app-led businesses would be particularly relevant. We’re much more interested in how you think than whether you’ve used an identical technology stack. Why consider it? This is a newly created role with genuine visibility and room to grow. You’ll work closely with the senior leader responsible for Commercial Finance, Strategy and Growth, with regular exposure to the wider leadership team. You’ll also be joining at a point where the group is actively improving how it uses data, consolidating reporting and building the foundations needed to support its next phase of growth. For someone currently working in a larger analytics team, this could be a chance to: Take much broader ownership of your analysis Work directly with senior decision-makers See the commercial impact of the insights you produce Help shape a developing data function Build towards Senior, Manager and potentially broader Data & Analytics leadership as the business scales Package £45,000 – £55,000 Hybrid working, minimum 3 days per week in the London office Private medical cover Staff discount Further benefits currently being introduced If you’re technically strong but want your next move to give you more commercial exposure, ownership and progression, we’d love to hear from you. Operational Analyst - Wargaming & Defence
Hampshire, England
Wargaming is a niche area, but that’s exactly what makes this one interesting. Operational Analyst – Wargaming & Defence Location: South HampshireWorking pattern: 3–4 days per week on-siteSalary: £30,000–£60,000 depending on experienceClearance: Active SC required, with the ability to obtain DV / NATO clearance I’m supporting a small specialist Defence SME that uses operational analysis, modelling and simulation to help customers make better decisions around complex, high-consequence problems. The role sits somewhere between data analysis, operational research and professional wargaming. You could be building analytical models, interrogating datasets, stress-testing concepts through simulation, or turning technical findings into clear evidence for senior Defence stakeholders. What you’ll be doing Analysing complex datasets to support operational and strategic decision-making Building and maintaining analytical models and simulations Using tools such as Python or R, alongside advanced Excel/VBA Supporting or running analytical wargames Translating complex outputs into clear, defensible recommendations Working closely with Defence customers and multidisciplinary teams Experience with tools such as Command Professional Edition, Flashpoint Campaigns or Combat Mission would be a real advantage, but it isn’t essential for every level. Who could fit? There are a couple of routes into this role. You might come from a STEM, Operational Research or analytical background, with strong problem-solving skills and an interest in Defence. Or you might already understand the operational domain through Defence or military experience and want to deepen your analytical and technical capability. At the more senior end, I’d expect stronger Operational Analysis experience, confidence owning work packages and the ability to engage directly with senior stakeholders. What matters throughout is attitude: curiosity, initiative, pragmatism and a willingness to get stuck into problems that don’t always have an obvious answer. Location & Clearance This is important. You’ll need to be based within realistic reach of South Hampshire and comfortable working on-site 3–4 days per week. You must also already hold active UK SC clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain DV and NATO clearance. If you like the idea of combining data, modelling and real-world Defence problems in a genuinely specialist environment, this is well worth a conversation.
