Paid Media ManagerBury – office basedHighly competitive packages on offerForward Role are proud to be exclusively supporting the highly successful eCommerce Retailer JD Sports, as they look to hire a brand new Paid Media Manager to join their market-leading in-house Paid Media division. Reporting into a talented and supportive Paid Media Lead, you will work across all major and emerging paid media platforms such as Google, Microsoft, YouTube, Meta, TikTok etc, managing the end to end performance campaigns with the support of your wider performance team.Based in an incredible office space, you’ll be surrounded by industry leading specialists to train, develop and upskill you in all areas of paid media and have significant annual budgets to manage. If you’re a Senior Paid Search / Paid Social Executive, looking for your first step up into a Management role and are keen to develop yourself in the wider acquisition channel mix but haven’t had the opportunity from your current employer to do so, this may be the opportunity for you! Likewise, existing Managers who are keen to manage teams whilst also leading by example by first-in-class activations, the JD Sports team are keen to hear from you!Your day to day would look like:
Demonstrate a sound understanding of all Paid Media elements, including campaign planning and best-in-class activation.Manage a team of two Paid Media SpecialistsComplete performance reports to a high standard, offering context and insight.Oversee the monitoring of daily delivery and performance and ensure regular optimisation of all campaign elements (segments, creative, landing pages, etc.) based on agreed campaign KPIs.Carry out daily budget checks to ensure spend phasing & performance falls in line with the agreed strategy, reacting to current trends and implement changes where necessary.Develop relationships with key partners to nurture performance growth (Google, Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, YouTube etc.)Where possible work closely with other digital and non-digital channels to identify channel integration opportunities.Collate data, examine and generate reports to carry out performance analysis to proactively ensure best possible results & identify opportunities.
Your skills & experience:
4+ years’ experience in Paid Media – either Paid Social or Paid Search – both would be highlyDesirableeCommerce experience is essentialLiterate in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Office365, Google DocsEffective communication skillsAnalytical & problem solver

The Group are now looking for a dynamic and passionate Paid Media Executive to join their market-leading in-house Paid Media team. Reporting into a talented and supportive Paid Media Manager, you will work across all major and emerging paid media platforms such as Google, Microsoft, YouTube, Meta, TikTok etc, managing the end to end performance campaigns with the support of your wider performance team.You’ll be surrounded by industry leading specialists to train, develop and upskill you in all areas of paid media, and will have clear progression routes set from week one. Deliver engaging, relevant training sessions to youth support workers and related practitioners
Translate real-world practice into classroom and workshop settings
Provide constructive feedback and coaching to learners
Contribute to curriculum development and materials that reflect current practice
Support evaluation and continuous improvement of training provision
Who We’re Looking For You must hold either:
A JNC-recognised Youth Work qualification (Level 3 Diploma or Degree) OR
A Degree in a related field (e.g., Community Development, Social Work) with strong youth work experience
In addition:
Solid experience of frontline youth work practice
Proven ability to train, coach, and influence adult learners
Excellent communication and facilitation skills
Credible, professional approach with a passion for youth development
