The OpportunityThis is a rare opportunity to join a fast-growing consumer retail business at a genuine inflection point. Built around a market-leading physical product and a capital-efficient subscription model, the business has achieved around 40% year-on-year growth across five international markets and is now ready to build a repeatable, measurable growth engine.This is the company's first senior marketing leadership hire in the UK. Reporting directly to the Founder and CEO, you will take full ownership of the marketing P&L and partner at the highest level on the commercial agenda. The scope is deliberately broad, with a clear path to wider commercial leadership as the business scales.If you want to set the strategy, build the team and define the playbook rather than inherit someone else's, this is the role!
What You Will Be Doing
Define and execute a global B2C marketing strategy aligned to revenue, retention and lifetime value targets across performance, brand, content and CRMOwn the full customer acquisition funnel across paid, organic, marketplace and partner channels with a clear focus on CAC, LTV and conversion optimisationBuild a lifecycle and retention engine that converts marketplace customers into long-term, direct subscribersDevelop the brand into a category-defining consumer proposition with genuine global ambitionLead go-to-market planning for new product launches, working closely with the founder and product team on timing, channel and messagingBuild and lead a high-performing marketing team, with scope to grow into broader commercial leadership over timeOwn budgeting, forecasting and marketing P&L accountability
What We Are Looking For
Proven B2C marketing leadership experience in a consumer, e-commerce or subscription-led environmentFirst-hand experience of building demand through both direct-to-consumer channels and global marketplaces, ideally with meaningful Amazon exposureA track record of converting marketplace volume into direct, subscribed customersHighly commercial with strong command of unit economics: CAC, LTV, payback periods and channel ROIData-driven with strong analytical capability and comfort owning a marketing P&LCreative and entrepreneurial, able to balance brand building with performance marketing disciplineExperience operating in a founder-led, scale-up environment where the playbook is being written, not followedHands-on and comfortable operating without large team infrastructure in the early stagesPrevious experience of start up / scale up life and associated successes & acheivements would be ideal

With strong revenue momentum and a clear international ambition, the business is ready for a senior brand leader to take ownership and accelerate what's already working.Reporting directly to the CMO, you will own the end-to-end Marketing and Communications strategy across the UK and Europe. This is not a caretaker role. The expectation is to double UK performance and drive meaningful European growth within the next 12 to 24 months.
What You Will Be Doing
