This is a hands-on Creative Director position within a small, highly collaborative agency environment. The role combines creative leadership with active involvement in the development and execution of design work across multiple disciplines.You will lead the creative direction of the agency, overseeing brand, digital and campaign output while mentoring a team of specialists. Alongside leadership responsibilities, you will remain closely involved in concept development and delivery, ensuring all work meets high standards of creativity, strategy and execution.Key Responsibilities
Creative Leadership
Define and maintain creative standards across all outputLead ideation and creative direction across brand, digital and campaign projectsEnsure all work demonstrates strong conceptual thinking and craft
Team Leadership and Development
Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary creative teamFoster a collaborative and high-performing creative cultureLead critique sessions, workshops and ongoing development initiatives
Hands-On Creative Delivery
Contribute directly to creative work across print and digitalDevelop concepts across brand identity, campaigns, UX, motion and contentCollaborate with designers and digital specialists to deliver high-quality outputs
Client Engagement
Lead creative presentations and workshopsAct as a trusted advisor to clientsChallenge briefs to deliver stronger creative solutions
Commercial and Operational Delivery
Work with account management and operations to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budgetSupport resource planning and team utilisation
Agency Growth and New Business
Lead creative input into pitches and proposalsContribute to the agency’s reputation through high-quality, visible work

Strong portfolio demonstrating personal creative contribution across print and digitalMulti-disciplinary design capability across brand, digital and campaign workAdvanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and relevant design toolsStrong conceptual thinking and ability to translate ideas into executionExperience leading creative projects and mentoring teamsConfidence presenting to clients and stakeholdersAbility to balance creative excellence with commercial delivery

What We're Looking For
A solid background in IT infrastructure — networking, hardware, system support, or a related technical disciplineExperience delivering training, coaching, or assessment (apprenticeship experience preferred but not essential)The ability to explain technical concepts clearly to learners at varying stagesComfortable working independently and managing your own diaryWelsh language skills are a bonus but not required
