The Role
As Senior Client Manager, you will:
Own and execute the National Security business development strategy
Lead growth across defined client portfolios and "Fields of Play"

Role Overview
This position offers a broad technical scope, working across on‑premise, cloud, and hybrid platforms while helping to evolve infrastructure through automation, modern tooling, and best practice.

Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and maintain physical and virtual server environments
Administer cloud and hybrid platforms using AWS, Azure, and/or GCP

Manage identity, access control, and authentication services in line with security standards

Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and VLANs
Scripting ability using tools like PowerShell, Bash, or Python
Hands‑on experience with cloud services, particularly AWS and/or Azure
Exposure to monitoring and observability platforms such as Splunk, Datadog, or Nagios
Good understanding of infrastructure security concepts and best practices

This is a key opportunity to contribute to the development of high-quality publications that support some of the UK's most advanced military and commercial systems.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in technical writing, excellent communication skills, and a detail-oriented mindset. This role is well suited to someone with a background in engineering, defence, or aerospace who enjoys turning complex technical information into clear, user-friendly content.
Main Responsibilities
As a Technical Author, your duties will include:
Writing and maintaining technical documentation across military and commercial domains.
Translating complex engineering data into accessible and compliant documentation.
Working closely with subject matter experts to gather, clarify, and validate technical content.
Managing multiple documentation projects within agreed timescales and budgets.
Creating documentation in line with relevant industry and MoD standards (e.g. S1000D, Joint Service Publications, JSPs,).
Take ownership of Technical Publications
Support the technical authoring of bid/tender/quote submissions

Liaising with clients to ensure specifications and expectations are met.
Required Skills/Experience
Proven experience as a Technical Author, ideally in defence, aerospace, or engineering.
Experience of the application of through-life support standards such as DEF STAN 00-600, 00-40, 00-42, Mil Std 217F and KiD
Knowledge of MoD documentation formats, including AESPs, APs, and BRs.
Ability to communicate complex technical content clearly and concisely.
Strong planning, organisation, and time management skills.
High attention to detail and a methodical approach.
Experience working with structured authoring and documentation standards.
Experience creating or editing technical illustrations and integrating visual content.
