B2B PR Account Director

Salary £55k + bonus
A well- established and close-knit B2B communications agency in Manchester is looking to appoint an Account Director to play a key role in the next stage of its journey.
This is far more than a standard client services position. The agency is looking for someone commercially minded, ambitious, and confident enough to act as a genuine second-in-command to the senior leadership team. A PR Account Director who can challenge ideas, bring strategic thinking, and make a real impact on the direction of the business.

The Opportunity

You’ll lead key client relationships, shape strategic communications programmes, and support the wider development of the team and agency offering. Alongside overseeing high-quality client delivery, you’ll have the chance to influence internal decision-making and contribute to the future direction of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic B2B PR and communications programmes
- Act as a senior advisor across key client accounts
- Drive account growth through strong relationship management and commercial awareness
- Support and mentor junior team members
- Contribute to agency growth, strategy, and new business activity
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership on wider business initiatives
- Ensure campaigns deliver measurable impact and align with client objectives

- Strong background in B2B PR, having worked with global brands
- Commercially aware and ambitious
- Experience leading and developing people in a motivating way
- Confident managing senior stakeholders and leading strategic conversations
- A proactive, driven individual who enjoys influencing and challenging constructively
- Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills
