We’re working with a rapid-growth, Manchester-based tech consultancy who are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to join them on a 12‑month fixed-term contract.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a B2B marketer who loves storytelling, enjoys translating complex technical ideas into compelling content, and wants to play a key role in shaping brand presence within the AI and technology space.

The Opportunity

Our client has built a strong reputation in their sector and continues to grow at pace. They’re now looking for a Marketing Manager who can own and deliver their marketing activity end‑to‑end, building awareness, generating leads and strengthening their position as a trusted expert in their field.

You’ll work closely with technical and commercial stakeholders, taking deep subject matter and turning it into engaging, human stories that resonate with customers, partners and the wider community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and evolve the marketing strategy, planning and sequencing activity throughout the year
  • Own written content including blogs, newsletters, case studies and social posts, translating technical topics into engaging narratives
  • Create and manage video content for LinkedIn and YouTube (storytelling and distribution focused, not high-end production)
  • Ensure consistent brand delivery across all channels and touchpoints, working with external partners where needed
  • Build and engage community through events, newsletters and social engagement
  • Own the events and PR calendar, ensuring presence at the right industry events
  • Support website optimisation, messaging, CTAs and SEO-led content
  • Track performance, analyse results and report on impact, leads and brand awareness

About You

  • Proven experience in B2B marketing, ideally within tech, consultancy or a technical environment
  • Confident turning complex subject matter into clear, engaging and persuasive content
  • Strong communication skills, from punchy social copy to in-depth long‑form content
  • Comfortable using modern marketing, digital and design tools, with a test‑and‑learn mindset
  • Organised, collaborative and able to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
  • Interest in AI, data, or emerging technologies, with a desire to deepen your knowledge
