The Opportunity
This is a rare chance to take the lead on brand-driven growth at one of the UK's most exciting D2C ecomm marketplaces. With strong revenue momentum and a clear international ambition, the business is ready for a senior brand leader to take ownership and accelerate what's already working.
Reporting directly to the CMO, you will own the end-to-end Marketing and Communications strategy across the UK and Europe. This is not a caretaker role. The expectation is to double UK performance and drive meaningful European growth within the next 12 to 24 months.
What You Will Be Doing
- Own the end-to-end brand and marketing communications strategy across the UK and Europe
- Lead ATL strategy (TV, radio, print), testing and scaling campaigns with clear commercial outcomes
- Drive European market expansion, including Germany and France, building localisation frameworks and execution models
- Translate business targets into clear quarterly and monthly marketing plans with defined priorities and accountability
- Strengthen in-house creative capability to reduce reliance on external agencies
- Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary team across Brand, Creative, Campaigns and Social
- Own audience segmentation, targeting and insight development across markets
- Manage budgeting, forecasting and spend tracking to ensure strong return on investment
- Embed performance tracking across all marketing activity and use data to continuously improve outcomes
- Manage agency relationships, ensuring high standards of delivery and strategic contribution
What We Are Looking For
- At least seven years of senior Marketing, Brand or MarCom leadership experience, ideally within a consumer-facing or D2C environment
- A strong track record in ATL, particularly TV and large-scale campaign delivery
- Proven experience launching and scaling marketing activity across European markets
- Commercially driven, with clear understanding of how marketing impacts revenue
- Experienced in managing significant budgets and making confident investment decisions
- A strong team leader who raises standards and gets the best from those around them
- Equally comfortable operating at a strategic and operational level
- Able to build effective cross-functional relationships and align marketing with wider business priorities
