We are seeking an experienced Contract Project Manager with a strong background in retail or ecommerce to lead a software migration project. This role will oversee the end-to-end delivery of a critical migration, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations and seamless integration with existing systems.This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who can balance strategic oversight with execution, stakeholder management, and a deep understanding of ecommerce and retail operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end delivery of a retail/ecommerce software migration project (e.g., ERP, OMS, CMS, ecommerce platform, or similar).
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, risk logs, and deliverables.
Coordinate cross-functional teams across IT, ecommerce, operations, merchandising, and customer service.
Manage vendor relationships and third-party service providers involved in the migration.
Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates and resolving issues promptly.
Ensure data integrity and continuity of business processes throughout the migration.
Conduct post-migration reviews and contribute to lessons learned and documentation.
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience as a Project Manager in retail or ecommerce environments.
Strong track record delivering software or platform migration projects (e.g., ecommerce platform replatforming, ERP/OMS migrations).
Deep understanding of retail systems, workflows, and data dependencies.
Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills.
